Paintball is an electric and fun activity. Regrettably it has a reputation as being risky by many in the general population. To the contrary, many paintball parks are planned for the whole household. There are a lot of different games you can play with paintball and there are also various levels of experience and competition. One of my favorites is woods ball. As a boy, I used to go hunting with my father. Hunting isn't politically correct anymore and it's not something that I consider fun anymore. Paintball gives me the same feeling of excitement and accomplishes what I am looking for in a weekend recreational pastime.
While paintball can be a bit uncomfortable it can also be fun for the entire household. A lot of folks don't realize how much fun paintball can actually be for their household. Most siblings will jump at the chance to hit their brother or sister with a round of paintballs. Males should be aware that their female counterparts are quick and elusive on the paintball field and quick to pull the trigger as well!
Both you and your kids will develop great and fun memories after a day at the paintball field. Do not dread the paintball game itself. A lot of folks are scared of paintball beause they feel the paintballs will smart when they are hit. completely covering your skin will prevent welts and goggles or a mask should also be worn.Paintball is no different then any other sport; You need to Wear the proper equipment and gear to play the game safely. My son wears a chest and back protector, a full coverage paintball goggle, paintball gloves, paintball jersey and paintball pants. Paintball equipment is planned to be comfortable and to protect you.
There are a wide variety of games that you can play when it comes to paintball. Speedball is a game that is mostly played in tournaments and it's a lso a game that kids love. You can also choose woods ball where you get to try your hand at flushing out the enemy in a camouflaged hiding spot. There's a game for everybody on the paintball field if you're willing to experiment a bit. Having the right gear is of utmost importance in paintball and of critical importance is your paintball marker which could make or break you. Buying your equipment should only be made after you've tested out at least a few different kinds of paintball markers. Then after you have experienced the game for a little while, upgrade your paintball guns and gear to the style of play you are comfortable playing.
The main point of this article is to remove some of the fear of paintball and strongly encourage you to try it! Like other sports, it helps me forget about the daily stresses of life and enjoy some fun time with my family unit. If you want to know a little more then it's probably best to talk to some friends and see what they have to say about the hobby. Rent some equipment or buy an inexpensive starter kit. An all inclusive paintball starter kit including a paintball gun (paintball marker which is the same thing) can be found online for less than $100.00.sport the right geasr to reduce your amount of dread for the game and you'll be good to go. Paintball is a ton of fun and it can be addictive so be careful!

Intro To Paintball
Paintball is not only one of the fastest growing sports in the country but it's also one of the fastest growing sports in the world!. Not only can you watch paintball on TV but there are now also pro paintball leagues as well as several registered pro paintball teams in the states. With paintball being seen more and more in the mainstream many are asking themselves if paintball is something they might enjoy?
The biggest fear people have when it comes to paintball is whether or not it will hurt when they get hit with paintballs flying at them at a speed of 250-300 feet per second and the answer is maybe...
The thing is paintball is an adrenaline filled sport and there's really no tellin what you'll feel and what you won't feel when you're out there playing paintball. The honest truth is most people can bear the sting that accompanies playing paintball but you can also do things like wear the appropriate gear to protect yourself on the paintball field and minimize any oain you might feel.
In paintball your gun isn't called a gun it's called a paintball marker and the ammunition for your marker are paintballs or "paint." Your best bet when it comes to paintball guns is to rent them your first few times out. Paintball guns aren't cheap so you don't want to buy one unless you know you like the sport. Believe me the last thing you want to do is spend a lot of money on a new paintball gun that you won't be happy with because you didn't do your research and due diligence beforehand. Before you buy yourself a paintball marker make sure you try a few different paintball guns from a few different manufacturers out first.
Next to your paintball gun your paintball mask or goggles are the most important piece of equipment on the paintball field. Trust me you don't want to get hit in the face, eyes or ears with a paintball and that's why I recommend you wear a paintball mask that covers all three before you go out on the paintball field for battle.
One of the greatest things about paintball are the different fields you play on and all the different, pardon my french, crap you seen thrown about them! Personally speaking I like to see all kinds of "stuff" thrown about on the paintball field because it adds to the urban feel of the game. Nothing like feeling like a soldier out on a patrol in an urban setting!
One of my favorite games in paintball is "capture the Flag" but most other paintballers gravitate to games like woodsball or speedball.
Do yourself a favor and give paintball a try! Rent all your gear your first time out and see what youthink. At the very least I guarantee you'll have a good time!
